Where My Cup Is My Solitude
I see myself, in the mountains all alone
Breathing in, all the wondrous magnitude,
The greenery, the cascading waterfall,
My cup of coffee, is my solitude.
The peaceful sounds, are my serenity
They inspire the words that flow,
The crickets that chirp at night
And the moon, that brightly glows.
My cup and my cabin
Are my solitude in paradise,
The breathtaking scenery I adore
That lay before my eyes.
I'll go back into, my den of prose
Where I write what I have seen,
To lay upon, the pages of white
To let you embrace the scene.
I hope that with clarity
I have laid upon you a dream,
To let you feel in fantasy
In my mind where I scheme.
Another cup of coffee
Where my cup is my solitude,
Where I gather the senses of prose
In this wondrous magnitude.
