Painting a thrill,
A chill or our
Hearts will

The quills we use
Inspired by our muse
Write of love or
Or even of abuse

The words we write
Often give deep insight
And bring others a shining
Light

So make your quill shine
Just put the tip on
The dotted line
And use your mind

Fell

a feather fell and was retrieved
and place within a hand
waiting to be filled
seeing life as planned

gifted as a treasure dipped
from this waiting well
a heart, a soul, thirsty
to express loves need, sea's swell

etched into the surface
the ink is drawn and scratched
beauty in the eye beholds
this quill, creation's hatch.
