MY COUSIN ASKED ME WHAT TO DO IN LAKE GEORGE, BUT ALL I COULD ANSWER WAS THE GREAT ESCAPE. I HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE. ANY TIPS OF WHAT BEST TO DO THERE??? THANKS

A friend of mine goes every year. He LOVES it there. He told me that it can be very relaxing on the lake, but that there is also a nightlife.

Lake George is on the edge of the Adirondack Mountains. There are tons of things to do in the surronding area as well as Lake George. Hiking, Biking, swimming, etc, even outlet mall shopping. I used to live in Plattsburgh just up the interestate and never lacked for anything to do. Not to mention that Lake Placid is within a short driving distance. Tell em to go online or contact the local tourism board. So much to do but not enough room to list. Tell 'em have a great time!!

Huge hot air balloon fest the 3rd wknd in Sept. in Glens Falls. 100+ balloons going up at one time is going to be awesome. Last yr. I saw 17 go up in Greenfield, MA and thought that was terrific.....then this past wknd I saw 50+ go up in Dansville, NY and thought that was totally awesome....and got home to find out about Glens Falls 100+......and my daughter who goes to college in Albany is going to meet me up there for this terrific event!!!! ANY JUSTSAYHI'ers going????? We should all get together.
