Oh come on...DW is awesome.
He is one of the few guys announcing races that actually LOVE doing it.
You'd prefer listening to Rusty Wallace??? : shudders :

DW IS Nascar....He lives and breathes for the sport. Yes he gets a bit corny at times but it just gives us a peek of how it was early on in the sport. DW is Nascar history in the flesh! The man exudes such a passion for it that it sometimes brings a tear to his eye. Boogity Boogity all you want DW!!!!

I'll tell ya...the ONLY announcer I liked more than I like DW was Benny Parsons.
Benny was a true professional, but was also able to convey his love for the sport.

NASCAR has been around for over 50 yrs and i never heard "boogity, boogity, boogity" until a couple of yrs ago.

FOX has had the races for something like 10 years now. DW has been doing that for at least 5 of them.
Is it slightly annoying?? Sure.
Is it NEARLY as annoying as " Digger " was this season?? Not even CLOSE!!

I think DW and Rusty are both fantastic. NOBODY loves the sport more than DW. Did you see the day he waved the flag and started the races? It was like he was a little boy at his first car race. He was SO excited. And the day #3 lost his final race and Mikey won Daytona? That man's reaction to both will forever be stuck in my mind as one of the most emotional moments in Nascar history. He is truly emotional over this sport and loves it. So....boogity, boogity boogity...... And, as far as Rusty? WHO doesn't love Rusty? He is such a great person and I miss not cheering him on. I hope BOTH of them will ALWAYS be a part of this exciting sport. Peace out......
