I'll be going to San Francisco in a couple weeks. Can anyone suggest places to visit or things to do? I've already done some of the touristy stuff, so I'm looking for other suggestions. smile

hit up amoeba records! it's the largest, coolest record store i've ever seen! i think it used to be a bowling alley back in the day...which was a wednesday by the way.

slim's and bottom of the hill are cool music venues too banana

be sure and pack your hippie repellent!

I went to Amoeba records when I was there earlier this year. Thanks for the suggestion, though! It is a pretty cool store.

There's also Fisherman's Wharf, too. There's lots of fish restaurants there.

Then there's Chinatown, too.

I went to Fisherman's Wharf, but haven't eaten there. Thanks.

Thanks! I'll look into it. Definitely need to find a place to eat one night, as I'm celebrating my birthday while I'm out there. bigsmile
