Hi, how ya doing? Thanks for giving this a quick look.
I have to admit a few things about myself upfront, an honest admission that will hopefully inspire you to drop me an email.

Admission Number 1: I am an optimistic. Someone who always, no matter what, strives to find the bright spot, the positive spin, the good things. Certainly at times it is harder to do than others, but I still try!

Admission Numero Dos: I enjoy conversations. Anything from the world stage to politics to contemplating ones belly button. All topics are open.

Admission Tres: I like adventure (I enjoy traveling), meeting new people and making new friends. I am a people person! (Maybe that should be number 4).

So why might someone like me be here?
Well, admittedly I like this place in a few different ways, one of which is the great discussion forums. Sometimes the topics are just too irresistable to pass on. And so I converse thusly.

My other reason is to find someone to spend some time with. To do those things both great and small with. To hang out, enjoy each others company and who knows. To enjoy taking a day at a time and see what the future holds.

I'd like to find someone who is honest and true to herself first and foremost. Someone who likes to have fun, enjoys spending time together with that special someone, but doesn't "need" to be with that somneone every hour of every day.

So what about me?
Simple: I am me! Uniquely me, Full of ideas, dreams and creativity to burn!
But I am also realistic with an 8-5 job working at Duke for the past half decade.
I am 39 (the big 4-0 next June!), and a fan of the Blue Devils & Wolfpack, & of NASCAR. Thats my grunt side, but I do have a more polished side too as I enjoy some stage productions, concerts and museums (I am not ashamed to admit.... I love Art Museums!).
I also enjoy writing (mostly fiction.... but also poetry when I have a muse or otherwise inspired).


Life is not all about TV and movies of course, however I do have my moments of "spuddom" when catching a few of my favorite TV shows or hitting the computer in the various activities and endeavors I have going, one of which is working on my own part-time online business. Other than writing, I also like to draw as well as design web pages (just a beginner). Yep, I have a real creative side!

I enjoy being around people who are like minded as far as attitude, creativity and humor (I am a side splitter at times!) and around people who can think for themselves and are truly independent.
