A little about me:

I was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Texas back when I was a teen. I did a tour in the United States Marine Corps back in 97-01. I am a Texas A&M graduate, class of 05, gig'em, and now I am here in Dallas working on my doctorate.

Personality wise, I am a funny guy who is loyal and a helpless romantic.

My likes:

Psychology: I like studying the human condition. to better understand why we do the things we do, and to help other find inner peace and self actualization.

History: because to know where we are going we first must understand where we came from.

Art and Music: because they sooth the soul and are a gauge of a societies sophistication. I love Addison since they have symphony Saturday at the park, which I think would be a great way to spend a day with someone special.

Running: Because it is helping me to get back in shape and it helps me to deal with stress. I am not crazy hard core runner with the whole runner suit and stuff but I did recently run a 5k in March and plan to do another in may.

Outdoor activities: I love the ocean and going to the lake, my family owns a time share that we use at either Holly lake near Tyler or lake Conroe. I like to go sailing or fishing, don't worry I don't keep anything I catch its more about the time spent with people I go fishing with, besides I haven't caught anything since I lived in College Station.

Cooking: Because it a great time to gather close friends and family together and share a great meal together.

My dislikes:

Smokers, sorry smokers please don't contact me. I dated one and it was like kissing a bar.

Cheaters, because betrayal is a cowards way out. I can understand following your heart but do the right thing and end your current relationship first.

What am I looking for?

Age 22-30, single female. though a mature 21 or youthful 30's something is cool, i just set that as a range.
No kids, nothing against them, I hope to have a couple of my own but I am not ready to be a dad just yet.
No smokers
No cheaters
Liking football is not a requirement but it gets you huge brownie points with me
