What can I say? I'm just curious about who's out there.
Note: I always hate this part. How do you talk about yourself without sounding like you're bragging or worse: vain, self-centered and narcissistic?
First and foremost, I'm a college student and I also work two jobs, so I keep pretty busy. I'm double majoring in art history and European history. I'm learning French as my 4th language. I am also a barista, but that DOES NOT mean I work for the green and white company. You have no idea how many times I'm asked that. Haha! If you're familiar with the Bay Area then you'll know how much Peet's rocks! =D Let's see, I love to cook and I love trying new cuisines and foods. I am passionate about art, so I enjoy going to museums and galleries. I love to travel. I just wish I could afford to do it more often. There isn't just one place I want to see. I want to see and experience the entire world, well, at least most of the major countries in the world. I could never understand those people who just want to live in one place for their entire lives. It's not the boredom or monotony that would get to me, but it's my curiosity that would kill me. Aren't you curious to see what's out there and who you'll meet and what experiences will change your entire mindset? Anyway, what else? My weakness is a good Cuban cigar (Romeo y Julieta's are my favorites). With that said, I do yoga and pilates and I love outdoorsy things like hiking. I try to stay pretty active and somewhat healthy. Well, I guess I should describe my physical self now, huh? I'm a cute, 5'5", brown hair and brown eyed Asian. I'm Chinese, but born and raised in San Diego, CA. I've chopped my long locks off for shoulder length hair that I'm now trying to re-grow. (Haha.) I'm 118lbs, fluctuating between 115 and 120. If you think that's bad, it's not because I don't eat. Please believe I've won many buffet eating contests in my day against my guy friends. I just have a great metabolism. =D I know I'm not giving much here, but I just don't think the physical is as important as what's inside.
Anyway, let's get to the important part: what I'm looking for in the opposite sex. 1.) INTELLIGENCE! Let's face it. Who wants to date a dummy? If I wanted to date a brick, I would, but the point is to have a connection with another person, right? 2.) Sense of humor. I like guys that can laugh easily and smile even easier. 3.) A gentleman, for the most part. The right time calls for the right behavior and all that stuff. It just depends on the situation. However, respect is non-negotiable. I give respect freely and I expect the same. 4.) Sense of adventure. Don't be a wussy! Haha. If you're not willing to take a bite out of that piece of sashimi, then how do I know you'll be willing to go to South Africa with me for World Cup 2010? How do I know your curiosity is getting the better of you? How do I know that you'll take that chance to experience your life? 5.) Looks. Bottom line, I'm not Jessica Alba, and I don't expect you to be like whoever is hot nowadays, but I take damn good care of myself. You only need to do the same.
Well, if my quirkiness is anything that seems interesting to you, drop me a line. Thanks! Send me a message!
