Hi all! Getting back in the dating scene after a few years away from it. Not looking for anything TOO serious right away, would love to meet guys & girls for new friendships first.

I'm a pretty decent catch if I do say so myself (my mom told me to write that..LoL). I have a lot going for me. I have a job I love, a family I love, and close friends I love. I was in a relationship for three years, and have been out of it now for one year. I will admit to thinking that I was going to marry him and life was perfect. It was not. I'm much better for it, and stronger than I was before.

I'd like to think that my outlook on dating hasn't changed much since last I tried it...lol I figure some good ol' fashioned chemistry, some laughs, and good conversation is an excellent starting off point. I love humor, wit, intelligence, smarts, and sarcasm! Tickle my mind, and the rest will follow! I really don't like drama or people with overly negative attitudes. Yeah, sometimes we all have a bad day once in a while... but if life is always bringing you down, I really don't want to be around that. ::sweet smile::

I admit to having some odd standards. It drives me nuts when people e-mail/IM in "text-speak". Chances are if u snd me sumthin lik ths, I'll ignore it. Sorry. I realize, also, that not everyone is the world's greatest speller...but for gosh sakes, at least KNOW how to use "there", "their", "they're", and "your"- "you're", correctly! I don't deal well with overly sexual comments right off the bat, either. I'm by no means a prude, but I think there's a "ramp up" period before getting to THAT point. Thanks. =)
